Okebugwu Michelle Adanma : Pros and Cons of Eyelash Extension.

Eyelash extensions are enhancements designed to add length, thickness and fullness to the natural eyelashes. They are applied with lash glue, a single lash is applied to each natural lash; when applied properly, neither the extension lash nor the glue should touch the eyelid; however slight irritation and watering of the eye may occur if the glue comes in contact with the eye.

If you haven’t already tried the Eyelash extension, you should at least once in your life ( I’ll take this advice). With the wedding season in full swing, you have a perfect excuse, but before you do; Choose a reputable salon or spa. Ask what type of adhesives is used- it should be non-formaldehyde.
Avoid getting your extension wet and steamy rooms 24hours after application, because the adhesive will reactivate and may cause lashes to stick together. Also bacteria may reside because the wet and warm environment allows it to thrive.

Resist the urge to pull. If you pick, twist or excessively touch or brush your extension, it could damage your natural lashes or even lose your natural lashes due to improper pull. If at any time, you don’t wish to continue, always have it professionally removed.
If well fixed, it’d surely enhance your beauty. Go right ahead and bat those lashes.
